My name is Brenda Kuhn.  I am originally from Dansville, NY and now live near Columbia, SC.  I am the mother of two kids -- a 5 year old little monster and an 12 year old horse lover!  My daughter, Shirah, has always had a love for horses.  She has been taking lessons and learning as much as she can about them for the past 7 years.  This will be her third year showing.  She has done an excellent job with that - bedroom wall is covered in ribbons and has a couple of trophies.  Teagan, my 5 year old son, also rides and received his first blue ribbon in his first show April 12, 2007.  Way to go!!!  Teagan will be able to compete in all of the 2008 shows.

Thanks to my Uncle John, Shirah now gets to learn how to train horses.  She started working with her first horse in the fall of 2005, a beautiful pure Paso Fino, Imperial de Pride.  You can see pictures of him in by clicking on the "Photo Album" link to the left.  She is finding out what hard work raising a horse really is, but it’s the kind of work she enjoys.

My daughter and I decided to put together a website where we can share our knowledge with others.  Shirah is hoping to be able to answer questions from kids/teens that are interested in “the horse world” and I am here for the parents of those young horse lovers.
