 Western vs. English

When looking into taking lessons one of the first questions that may be asked is “do you prefer Western or English?”  So, what’s the difference???

Western

Style of riding using a heavier saddle with a deeper seat. Reins are held in left hand, right hand stays at your side.  Some of the uses of the Western saddle are trail riding and rodeos.
